EXTERIOR: bright red coachwork in very good condition for its year, having had a full restoration less than 10 years ago and still showing its pattena and depth of finish. The restoration included a completely new mohair hood and frame, as well as re-chroming of all bright work such as window surrounds and bumpers. The restoration included full rust treatment and waxoyling of chassis, arches and engine bay.

INTERIOR: All dials and electronics in full working order. the leather seats and interior are generally in very good condition with no excessive ware beyond its genuine mileage. The carpets were replaced with correct period reproduction items in the last restoration following rust treatment of the floor.

ENGINE & GEARBOX: The engine and gearbox show little sign of wear having been properly serviced in accordance with recommended Jaguar service intervals by two loving owners. The clutch and gear change is mechanically tight as too is the original 3.8 litre engine.

DOCUMENTS & TITLE: The vehicle has a fully comprehensive service record along with all invoices for its restoration in 2015. The log book is in the present owners name and comes with two keys and the original owners manual.

The description of this auction is, per the Seller, and  to the best of their knowledge accurate and not mis-leading. It is the Seller's responsibility to be as accurate about as possible. Potential Bidders (buyers) must, however, independently satisfy themselves as to the accuracy of the description and conduct their own due diligence including:

Checking the UK Gov.uk site for MOT history. This will show:
1.    Current MOT expiry date, as well as "Advisories" that may require factoring in repair cost for the next MOT,
2.    Separately, if the vehicle has any outstanding "Recalls".
3.    The vehicle mileage Year-on-Year against previous MOT records.
DrivenBid does not undertake HPI checks, at any time. We rely on the sellers declaration that to the best of their knowledge, the vehicle has not been the subject of an insurance claim of any kind.

Used vehicles may have had cosmetic repairs at some stage, if only to rectify minor damage, eg. scuffs, sun/weathering etc. Photographs converted from a video, may not reflect true colour or full condition of the vehicle. It is a bidder’s responsibility to satisfy themselves of the colour and condition of a vehicle, including interior and its mechanical fitness for purpose. This includes by raising enquiries with the seller in the comments section.  This may also include arranging to view the vehicle during the auction period at the sellers granting of this by arrangement through Drivenbid. We strongly advise this is.

Upon successful completion of an Auction reaching Reserve Price, Drivenbid will deduct its 4% Commission fee. The successful Buyer will be provided with the contact details of the Seller to make arrangement to complete the sales transaction between both parties. If the highest bid is within 20% of reserve Drivenbid will attempt to aid a desired outcome for both parties, but does not act as agents for either party,

To assist this, DrivenBid will provide the Buyer, free of charge (Private Sale only), with a CarVertical vehicle check report. Should anything material be revealed in the report, contrary to, or omitted from the Sellers Auction details, the Buyer will have the right to "Walk away". Otherwise, the Buyer is responsible in completing the purchase at the winning bid price bid in line with the auction within 7 days of ending.
